The short version: we only ask for what we need, we don’t sell it, and you can leave whenever you like.
Who we are
Milkshake is a creative agency run by Olive and Mat in Tauranga, Aotearoa New Zealand. If you’ve got a question about your information, email [email protected].
What we collect
- Your email address, if you sign up for first word on what’s coming in February 2027 and/or The Milk Run. We also note which form you used, so we know which bit of the site worked.
- Your name, email and message, if you leave us a note with the contact form. That’s optional, and only used to reply to you.
That’s it. No tracking pixels, no ad cookies. The page remembers whether you turned the sound on, in your own browser, and nothing else.
What we do with it
- Sign-ups get emails from Milkshake: first word on what’s coming in February 2027, and The Milk Run, whatever’s rattling around inside our heads, only when it’s worth your inbox. You’ll be asked to confirm before anything is sent.
- Contact notes are read by us and answered by us.
- We don’t sell or rent your details to anyone. Ever.
Who helps us
- Klaviyo stores our email list and sends our emails.
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- Formspree receives and delivers contact-form messages.
All three may store information outside New Zealand, including in the United States. We use them because they take security seriously, and they only use your information to provide their service to us.
Leaving, seeing or deleting your details
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you’re off.
- Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we’ll sort it.
- If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled it, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
How long we keep it
Email sign-ups stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Contact notes are kept as long as we need them to reply and follow up.
